momversations on anti-bias & anti-racism

The Selah Project would like to welcome you to their platform called - Just Ask Randi, a brave space for mom’s to talk freely about race. During each hour-long momversation, Randi will teach for 15 minutes about how we as mothers can better our language, thoughts, actions and systems we create within our home that perpetuate racial rhetoric. Following each lesson, the moms will be invited to have dialogue and ask questions. ​

It’s Not Too Late To Join The Momversation!!! Please join our second of five sessions (Friday, July 10, 2020 @ 11:00AM– 12PM CST) where mom’s, mom's to be, grandma’s, and caregivers can learn How to Have Hard Conversations about Race, Power, and Privilege within our Families. It is important to note that this process is often messy and these conversations bring up a lot of questioning of what we may believe to be true subconsciously, during this series, we will have brave spaces to talk and interact with different peoples views. In our first session, we discussed our own implicit biases and how we can mistakenly place them on our children during play and storytime. I will also suggest practical toys and books for children. ​ ​Can't wait to see you!!!
