Another Shout Out To Give More HUGSThese days it seems that I spend more time participating in book events in Dallas than Houston. Well, something keeps pulling me back. This time it was Give More HUGS. The nonprofit celebrated Global Youth Service Day in Dallas, San Angelo, Temple and San Antonio. The two day event included writing inspirational messages in books to give students hope. Then there was the Book Fair Share where youth come in to choose books of their liking at no charge. It was, once again, an honor to be a part of this motivational event. @givemorehugs #literacy #globalyouthservice #freebooks #booklovers #givemorehugs #bookshare

I remember a year ago we did a similar event at my town, we told kids to bring books they don’t read anymore and exchange them with other kids, the look of happiness on their face was so adorable GREAT EVENT!

Events like this one where you get to interact with kids and be an inspiration for most of them and to help them learn more and new things touch my heart and would love to be apart of these events.
